What if I can't attend the conference live?

Hey Reader,

If you just found out you won't be able to attend the Back to School Conference live this weekend, don't freak out!

We've got your back.

Today's Conference tip is all about accessing the replays and earning your CEUs!

Replays

As part of your conference registration, you can access both the live sessions this weekend and the recordings of all seven sessions.

That means you can watch every session live this weekend or go back and watch the replays when you have time. You can also catch some of the sessions live this weekend and others later. That's cool, too.

We typically post each session replay within 24 hours of the live event, and we expect to have all sessions available for you on or before Monday, August 26th.

Once they are posted, you can access the session replays until December 31, 2024. You can watch each session as many times as you'd like before then.

As you can see in the image below, the replays will live in the B2S Community under the "B2S Replays" space. I'll post a video early next week explaining how to access the replays, in case it helps.

Earning your Certificate

Like the replays, earning your conference certificate will also be available until Dec. 31st.

However, if you want/need your CEU certificate to state that you attended live, then you must attend live this weekend. We track attendance and when the CEU quiz is completed.

If you watch live this weekend, we will post the link to earn your certificate at the end of the final session on Sunday.

If you watch the replays, you will find the link to the quiz in the B2S Replay space after you have watched each session replay.

The quiz will consist of 2-3 questions from each session, so be sure to take notes and have them handy when you take it.

Upon completing the quiz, you will be able to download your certificate. We will also email you a copy for your records.

Please note: Due to the Q+A nature of the Advocacy Panel on Saturday afternoon, it is not included in the 12 hours of CEU credits. If you watch this session, you will be able to earn an additional 1-hour certificate of attendance.

Don't forget to log in before Saturday! (Here's how)

Don't risk missing our first session!

It has been great reading all of your hello posts from across the globe! I especially enjoy reading Michael's post from NYC. Michael is an OT and a Fellow in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. Check out his post and say hello.

See you back in the community!

Presented by Pearson Hey Reader, I hope you're having a fantastic end to February! Today, I want to share some nature-inspired insights about classroom design that could improve our support of both teachers and students. I recently spoke with Alex Thompson, a former teacher turned OT who's revolutionizing classroom spaces (and school-based OT within MTSS) using nature-inspired design principles. Her teaching background gives her a unique perspective on creating environments that work for...

Presented by theOT Schoolhouse Collaborative Hey Reader, Let’s be real for a second. Learning evidence-based practices in OT has never been easier. At the OT Schoolhouse alone, we’ve published over 220 hours of audio and video courses on school-based OT, much of it for free! But here’s the catch: while acquiring knowledge is simple, putting it into practice is a whole different game. How many times have you left a PD course bursting with ideas, only to find yourself struggling to implement...
